I’ve been eyeing Calphalon for a while now. A full set is pricey and warrants research. It’s an investment that deserves research. I did mine and saw this set on sale. Buy now! I’m super happy. Well packaged and no issues with delivery. First cook and as stated… non-stick. Was also pleasantly surprised that the handle stayed cool on the stove. Being metal, I thought that would be impossible. Was also concerned about the weight of the pans. Although not featherlight, they aren’t heavy like cast iron. I’m thrilled with my purchase. Oh, and random surprise… they appear to heat up faster. Almost had a pot boil over. That hasn’t happened to me for more years than I car to admit. Spot on! Love love!These pans are......AMAZING!! The variety I got are all pots and pans I use frequently. Love having the glass lids so I can see my food inside without having to take the lid off. They do take a little longer to warm up and for the food to begin cooking, but this is because the material they're made of takes that heat and evenly distributes it throughout the pan and then retain steady temperature cooking your food just right. The non-stick surface is so nice to have and unlike any other "non-stick" coated pan I've ever used. I made homemade chili 2 days a go and then we had it for dinners 2 nights in a row. After dinner the first night I just waited for the chili to cool, put the lid on the pot and just put it on the top rack in the fridge so that it'd be quick to grab and throw right back on the stove to warm for dinner that following night. By the end of night 2, all the chili was gone but there was a pretty thick layer of food goop all along the inside of the pan. Imagine my surprise when all it took was hot water from the hand sprayer from the sink to remove every single little bit of that goop. I didn't even have to use soap! I was so shocked I grabbed the sponge and a squirt of soap and bubbled it all up anyway and gave it a little swish swash anyway. Why did I not buy these sooner?!?!I was using a different set before but it was time to upgrade it. Calpalons are usually advertised for hand washing. I am glad that these can be washed in the dishwasher. Easy toClean and it works for different types of ovens.This is our 4th set of cookware in 47 years. The Calphalon Premier 11 piece set is by far the most heavy duty set of cookware we've owned. The 8 quart stock pot and 3 quart saute pans are massive and allow you to cook for a group. We cook on a gas range. These pans evenly distribute the heat allowing for consistent cooking results. My wife insisted on a nonstick coating and these work very well allowing for easy cleaning. After buying them I found out my oldest brother and his wife also own this set. He told me they love them, the best performing set of cookware they've ever had. I have found you have to be careful and not overheat any nonstick pan or you'll damage the coating. Inspite of being dishwasher safe, we plan on handwashing these to get as much life out of the set as possible. After a few years of light use no dishwasher no metal utensils they were still done. These feel a lot more durable and are dishwasher safe according to the bottom. Great set and worth it. Calphalon has a great warranty that they stand bye.I love the set, but one of the pans came with a scratch, which is unacceptable for a product that is not cheap. I wonder! has this pan already been used? It looks like it is because of the scratches and marks at the bottom. I like the set but unfortunately I can't miss this detail for something that I expected to be high qualityI have nothing bad to say about this. looking for other sizes to buy now to replace other cookware.Calphalon es una excelente marca estadounidense.
